Your Wedding Ceremony

Dunedin Leisure Lodge boasts beautiful lawns and established gardens plus a garden bar  – a setting that can be reserved exclusively for your use, and offers a lovely, private backdrop for your ceremony and wedding photographs. Our team can easily relocate your ceremony indoors should the weather be adverse on the day.

The Wedding Reception

McGavin Room
For a larger wedding of up to 100 guests cocktail style or 70 guests banquet style, the McGavin Room located on the first floor of the hotel can be reserved exclusively for your wedding celebrations and decorated to your taste or wedding theme. There is no room hire charge. With natural lighting and a balcony featuring views of the spectacular gardens, this room is delightful both during the day and evening.  The McGavin Room connects to the gardens through the hotels reception area.

Oast House
Situated in the garden with a magnificent Bluestone feature wall and vaulted ceiling, The Oast House is the perfect venue for smaller wedding receptions of up to 50 guests cocktail style or 30 guests banquet style. The gas fire creates an atmosphere of warmth in comfortable surroundings. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, this room is also a popular choice of venue for wedding ceremonies.

Wedding Catering & Cuisine

We have a selection of divine wedding menus for you to choose from. These are completely flexible and can be tailored to suit your tastes and budget. We are fully licensed but do not have a BYO license, however special prices and options for table wine can be arranged.

Dunedin Hotel Accommodation

When you book a Dunedin Leisure Lodge wedding package the bride and groom can stay for FREE on the wedding night and receive a complimentary breakfast the next morning in the hotel's restaurant. We can also offer your wedding guests discounted accommodation rates provided they specify that they are staying for your wedding at the time of booking. Enquire about setting up a dedicated website landing page for your guests to book their discounted accommodation online.
